Natives - Local Population - Original Punekars - a new class of home buyers has emerged in Pune real estate market.

While buying property - own contribution, EMI, location, amenities and specifications, track record & reputation of a builder - are not their parameters. These are the essential components of the offer.

So, I am not talking about the builder's offer - not about the property. I am talking about life.

The website, the brochure & the sample flat present the moments of life one can enjoy in a 4 BHK Flat with a servant room in Dreams Aryan at Hadapsar.

He will pay around 3 crore for this home only if these moments become his virtual experiences.

So, what do I do? I create experiences. Prakash Thombre of Widemediagoup told me.

Website, brochure is just a media. Show flat is just a stimulus. What matters is an experience. The native will replace himself in the visuals and will experience living a life in a 4 BHK Flat with a servant room at Dreams Aryan Hadapsar.

I said "The native". Not all. Only a native. Because it is life. It's personal - private - experience. Prakash said.

"Yes - got it. You mean like "9 Sadashiv" & "The Palladium at Kothrud" - Dreams Aryan is also for the natives. For those who have. Not for those who are eligible to borrow! Right?," I asked.

"Correct!," Prakash said.

When I visited the show flat of Dreams Aryan Hadapsar, I experienced those moments and enjoyed them too. After all, I am also native. Local. Punekar.

What say you?

Would you like to experience the moments of life you will live in a home before you decide to buy it?

Have a look at the moments of Dreams Aryan, and please, share your parameters of buying a home in the comments.

  1. You know what I absolutely HATE about Indian companies adverts.. not portraying the local (Indian) faces. They, more often than not, have firangis stamped all over the ads.

    1. @Raj Singh

I share the same opinion. Have you also noticed 100 acres of lush greenery they show surrounding the project. In reality there is merely any green area in the premises.

all magic of computer graphics...but sometimes it sucks

  2. Ha ha, photography budget was zero, so they basically searched google images and did a copy paste.
Kudos to advertising agency, then managed to dupe a builder with a stupid campaign. This is like snatching food out of a crocodile's jaws.

  3. Target buyers for such schemes are CEOs, CXOs and companies looking for guest house.

  4. A good product required good advertisement as well, very few like Vicco sell pretty good, with a great marketing campaign. As Raj Singh pointed out in the thread, the advertisement is kind of con job. A white kid to more a less Indian looking parents??

Anyways, I could not go to dreamsaryan.com as it seems to be blocked as inappropriate content in our company. So I could not verify if the servant quarters/rooms are inside the the individual apartments or have a floor dedicated to them. In any case, why would a mentally stable person buy 70-80 lac worth of space for servants? Is this British Raj days or what, to have a outhouse for servants? what about privacy and trust issue...

When you say that you are designer who handled the entire branding, positioning strategy and the communication design what do you *actually* mean to say ?

as far as design is concern, i think a 12th pass student who has average knowledge of photoshop like softwares can do the same think that you do...
go to google and search for some fancy wallpapers from countries like US and Europe and select some random good looking NON-INDIAN faces...

ask this question to yourself loudly "whether you are putting the reality of the location ?"
when you make any design does that area has greenery or line of coconut tress around...roads are shown as if they are ready-to-fly-aeroplanes. Isn't it cheating with people who pour lacs of hard-earn money in buying that one home ?

why to fool people...? and if you do that then DO NOT expect honesty from other fields...please understand that you are also consumer of other products in the market...START RESPECTING OTHERS HARD-WORK TOO.
