Police chief enters blogosphere

Commissioner of Police Dr Satya Pal Singh who had earlier started a Janta darbar to enhance people connect has now jumped into the blog bandwagon. A link to the blog -- http://drsatyapalsingh.blogspot.com -- is also available on www.punepolice.com, the official website of city police.

In his blog, the 53-year-old city police chief has put forth his views on a variety of issues such as yoga, his vision for a universal religion, communal harmony and nation building, three core values for public service, tackling terror and Maoist violence, re-inventing youth power and building a fearless society.

The police commissioner's writings on Lord Krishna, Lord Rama and Lord Ganesh also reveal his religious beliefs.
