City waiting for PMC's call on 'water affidavits'

Citizens, activists fume at the civic body for shirking its responsibility on giving water:

With the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) drawing all-round criticism from citizens and civic activists on the questionable "water affidavits", all attention is now focused on how soon the civic body acts on suspending this policy.

Action is also awaited from the PMC, as promised by city engineer Prashant Waghmare, against builders who have failed to provide a copy of the affidavits to their flat buyers or honour their commitment to provide water in their housing projects. Visit DNA to Read More
